Part-Time Receptionist & Station Administrator
Working Hours: 2 days per week (with flexibility required for holiday cover)
Your role: LMFM Radio is seeking a welcoming, organised, and reliable Part-Time Receptionist to manage front-of-house operations, support our broadcast production team, and handle essential daily financial administrative tasks.
Day to day you will:
Front Desk & Guest Hospitality

Greet show guests warmly upon arrival, providing refreshments and accommodating them prior to going on air.

Answer high-volume incoming telephone calls, accurately passing along listener comments and messages for show agendas.

Assist with general office admin, including managing daily newspapers and running routine system backups.
Radio Bingo Administration

Monitor the bingo line, call listeners, and verify winning tickets.

Update bingo numbers online promptly and email winners and updated numbers directly to the production team.

Prepare bingo readout sheets for presenters and manage over-the-counter bingo book sales.
Classifieds & Production Support

Process bookings and take payments for Classifieds (Community Diary, Family Notices, and Job Search Ads).

Update and finalize the Community Diary daily, delivering it to the production team strictly by 11:30 AM.

Process funeral notices and double-check that all notice items are fully invoiced.

Print daily broadcast and timing reports for presenters.
Finance & Cash Handling

Process incoming payments for the Sales team.

Manage and reconcile petty cash.

Prepare and make routine bank lodgements.
What we're looking for from you:

Strong organisational skills with tight deadline management (e.g., morning production cut-offs).

Warm, professional phone manners and strong face-to-face customer service skills.

Trustworthy cash-handling experience (petty cash, daily sales, banking).

Proficiency in basic software, web updates, and email management.
