Your team: Onic Finance is a dedicated, forward-thinking team providing crucial commercial oversight to ensure our local Irish media stations remain the dominant voices in audio.
Your role: Join us as Finance Business Partner (Southern Hub) to play a pivotal commercial role connecting financial performance with dynamic day-to-day operations. Reporting directly to the Regional Director, you will lead cost stewardship, shape operational strategy, and provide the fiscal foundations that empower our media teams to produce top-tier content. This role can be based in Cork or Limerick.
Day to day you will:

Lead the month-end close process, cost management, and balance sheet reconciliations to deliver clear performance updates.

Collaborate with multi-functional management teams to provide strategic financial input into daily business operations.

Drive annual budget preparation and rolling forecasts to deliver clear performance insights across station portfolios.

Oversee Group reporting by providing high-level commentary on weekly results and performance variances.

Manage direct reports while providing internal oversight for accounts payable and receivable functions.

Innovate reporting processes to streamline cost analysis, highlight trends, and improve overall visibility.
What we're looking for from you:

ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification is required (or equivalent "Qualified by Experience" status).

A proven track record in Management Accounting within the broadcasting or media sector is an advantage.

Advanced mastery of financial software (SAP preferred) and reporting tools.

Sophisticated analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into executive-level insights.

Specific experience in cost management, headcount reporting, and Group reporting

A "roll-up-the-sleeves" mentality with a willingness to engage in the granular administrative aspects of media finance if required.
