Your team: Times Money Mentor was launched December 2019 with the goal of helping everyone across the UK better understand their financial world and make the right decisions that will benefit them today and long into the future.

Since launching we have reached millions of people with our videos, articles and product ratings and are on a mission to reach many millions more. The Money Mentor website is an Editorial initiative and presents excellent opportunities to input directly into the wider Product and Editorial strategies.  

Your role: We are seeking a highly organised and creative senior Marketing and Social Media Manager to lead our digital marketing and social media strategy.

The role is ideal for a creative and analytical marketing professional with a passion for social media and personal finance.

Day to day you will: 

  • Set and execute the marketing and social media strategy for Times Money Mentor to deliver on our traffic and revenue targets.

  • Develop and implement social media strategies across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok to increase engagement, raise brand awareness and increase ROI.

  • Post short-form and long-form video content.

  • Create, curate, commission and schedule high-quality, unique content for each platform

  • Track, analyse and report on key performance metrics

  • Monitor and engage with followers to build an active online community and address customer queries

  • Analyse the long-term needs of Money Mentor’s marketing strategy and offer quarterly reports to the management and executive teams, outlining any necessary changes to the overall marketing plan

  • Liaising with other departments and creatives to create a holistic and effective marketing strategy

  • Create and run Times Money Mentor search engine marketing strategy and campaigns

  • Brand outreach and campaigns to increase high-authority site backlinks to the Money Mentor website.

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms

  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders and departments, and for marketing outreach

  • Strong content creation and ideation skills with the ability to create engaging graphics, videos and copy

  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail

  • Good data analytics skills

  • Knowledge of social media trends, tools and analytics

  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines

  • Solid understanding of SEO & search engine marketing
